Description
A versatile layering piece, the Outdoor Research Mens Refuge Vest uses innovative synthetic insulation to pull off the balancing act of keeping you warm (but not too warm) during cold weather aerobic activity so you stay dry and comfortable.
The exterior shell is constructed of wind- and water-resistant ripstop polyester with mechanical stretch that helps you maintain an uninhibited range of motion.
VerticalX polyester insulation effectively manages moisture so that you remain dry even during high-intensity activities. Unlike down, the insulation continues to keep you warm even if it should become wet.
An ActiveTemp treatment means that the insulation is more breathable when you are warm and changes to conserve heat when you are not. An elastic drawcord hem seals out drafts.
Other features include a full-length front zipper, a brushed tricot-lined front collar, a carabiner loop, a key clip, a zippered chest pocket, and zippered hand pockets. The left-hand pocket even doubles as a stuff sack for the vest when you are not wearing it!
